Spa at the Brown Palace Now Open
Reservations now being taken for Indulgent Spa Treatments;
Complimentary Valet Parking is Offered for Spa Visits
DENVER, CO. (December 28, 2005) – The $3 million Spa at the Brown Palace has opened its doors and is taking reservations for skin care, massage therapy, and hair and nail services for both women and men. The new Spa located inside the Brown Palace Hotel was constructed in an area that once housed Turkish baths and chiropodist parlors at the turn of the century.
Comprising two floors, the 5,200-square-foot Spa features a new elevator, separate street and lobby entrances, a private couples’ and celebrity suite with dual reclining hydrotherapy tub, separate hair and nail salon, six massage and skin treatment rooms, and separate mens and womens locker rooms with relaxation areas, Swiss showers, and steam rooms with aromatherapy. The gentlemens area features a private treatment room, as well as a flat screen television.
The décor throughout the Spa incorporates waterfalls, owing to the fact the Brown Palace has relied on its own artesian well with natural spring water since it opened in 1892. Artwork from the hotel’s 113-year-old archives graces the walls.
The Auriege Paris line of cosmetics and skin care products is offered on an exclusive U.S. basis at the Spa at the Brown Palace. It is known for its global anti-aging and chronobiology, and features five customized programs and five essential oils designed to follow “day and night,” as well as “seasonal” cycles. The Spa at the Brown Palace also offers a signature product line that can be found in the guest rooms at the Top of the Brown, as well as for sale in the Spa’s gift shop.
Lunch and snacks may be ordered from the special Spa menu, or the hotel’s Room Service can deliver food and beverage from its menu to the Spa. For visits to the Spa, complimentary valet parking is provided by the hotel.

Downtown Denver’s only Mobil Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond hotel, the Brown Palace has been open every day since August 1892. It is a charter member of National Trust Historic Hotels of America, and is managed by Quorum Hotels & Resorts, a full service management company headquartered in Dallas.
